On the 20th of November 2018, the Ambassador Nabil Abuznaid visited Universidade do Minho (Minho University) in Braga with a delegation from the Embassy, who were received by the Rector  Prof. Rui Vieira de Castro and the Pro-rector for International Affairs Prof. Carla Martins. Both sides discussed cooperation between Universidade do Minho and other Palestinian universities.

Chief of the Palestinian Civil Police Major General Hazim Attalah visits Portugal between the 6th and the 8th of November, the visit was organised by EUPOL COPPS , the Major General was received by his counterpart the National Director of PSP, Superintendent Chef Luís Farinha.
