On the 26th of September 2017, the Ambassador Nabil Abuznaid visited  Lusófona University  with a delegation from the Embassy, who were received by the President of the Administrative Council Mr. Manuel de Almeida Damásio and the Rector  Prof. Mário Caneva Moutinho . Both sides discussed cooperation between Lusófona University and other Palestinian universities
