On the 12th of December 2018, Palestinian-Portuguese Parliamentary group visited the Assembly of the Republic and other Portuguese entities. The Group was led by the President of the Friendship Group, Azzam Al-Ahmed, accompanied by 3 members: Epifano Bernard Sabella, Fayez Sakka and Ibrahim Khreisheh.

The group was received by the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic José Manuel Pureza, President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Portuguese Communities, Sérgio Sousa Pinto, and the Parliamentary Friendship Group Portugal-Palestine.

The group was also received in 3 municipalities by: Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Medina, Mayor of Palmela, Álvaro Balseiro Amaro and Mayor of Seixal, Joaquim Santos.

The group also met with civil society organizations.
