On the 13th of December 2017, the Ambassador Nabil Abuznaid visited  The University of Beira Interior with a delegation from the Embassy, who were received by the  Rector Prof. António Carreto Fidalgo . Both sides discussed cooperation between The University of  and other Palestinian universities.

On the 6th of December 2017, the Ambassador Nabil Abuznaid visited  The University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro with a delegation from the Embassy, who were received by the  Rector Prof. António Augusto Fontainhas, Vice-Rector Prof. Artur Cristovão and Vice-Rector Prof. José Luís Teixeira. Both sides discussed cooperation between The University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and other Palestinian universities.

On the 5th of December 2017, the Ambassador Nabil Abuznaid visited  The Portuguese Catholic University with a delegation from the Embassy, who were received by the  Rector Prof. Isabel Maria de Oliveira Capeloa Gil and theVice-Rector Prof. Teresa Teixeira de Vasconcelos Lloyd Braga. Both sides discussed cooperation between The Portuguese Catholic University and other Palestinian universities.

On the 27th of November 2017, The Women’s Democratic Movement, in collaboration with the Diplomatic Mission of Palestine inaugurated the exhibition Palestinian Cultural Heritage: History and Struggle, at Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude (Faro).

This exhibition displays, embroidered dresses, wooden hand crafts, mother of pearl and photos of Jerusalem taken by European photographers 100 years ago .
